If you don't use all of the ash I send you, what do you do with the extra?
  • The remaining ash is returned to you, along with the finished Memorial Beads.
  • Can you see the ash in the beads?
  • Yes, especially in the clear or transparent glass. It appears to be floating or swirling within.
  • Can you make beads so I don't see the ash?
  • Yes, if the glass used is opaque and if the ash is applied deep in the core, it's less obvious or can be completely hidden.
  • What if I want a bead without cremation ash?
  • Memorial beads can be created with material other than cremation ash. As long as the material can be pulverized into a fine powder, it can be encased in molten glass.
  • I want a Memorial Bead but the cremains have been buried. Any way to retrieve them?
  • For a fee, your cemetery will retrieve a portion.
  • I don't wear jewelry. What else can I do with a Memorial Bead?
  • The “clip on” style would be perfect. You can hang it anywhere. In a window, on a jacket pull, in your office or just put it in your pocket.
  • Is it possible to mix the ashes? I have ashes from both my parents?
  • Certainly, send them mixed or separately and I'll blend them.
  • How much ash should I send?
  • One spoonful is plenty, otherwise I will need 1/4 teaspoon measurement. In the collection kit you will find a tin and a spoon.
  • How should I get the cremains to you?
  • A “Collection Kit” will be mailed to you. Simply send the kit back to me in the envelope provided.
